Fighting against corruption, Samarkand tax inspector Akbar Islamov was sentenced for 2 years
As we reported previously, Senior State Inspector of Taxes Akbar Islamov was taken into custody in the area of Pastdargom of the Samarkand region for the detection of criminal loops in the regional scale, supposedly through false accusations.
The intrepid inspector was accused of slander, bribery and forgery. In court, prosecutor demanded 13 years of imprisonment.
Samarkand regional court on criminal cases in the case of Akbar Islamov passed the sentence: for the episode of forgery and defamation tax inspector was imprisoned for 2 years. Episode of the bribery was sent back for further investigation due to lack of evidence.
