Uzbek refugees are everywhere, also in Turkey
Because of the current regime in Uzbekistan, the number of leaving the country is increasing. Today, you can see our fellow citizens not only in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine or Russia, but also in Turkey.

According to information received from our local correspondent, 26 year old guy N.A. contacted the Department of the Chief Commissariat of the United Nations in Ankara, in order to obtain political refugee status and leave the country. Guy belonged either to a single opposition party, but struggled against a non-equity in their area and got into account of certain organs. He was arrested several times for several days and warned him openly that it would be worse if he will not calm down. Then he had to flee from the country.
Now his case is pending in the General Commissariat for Refugees. Commissioner paid his expenses and sent N.A. to English language courses and helped him financially. N.A. in order to support himself financially, does not disdain any work.
