Tajikistan does not count Uzbekistan's opinion in construction of Rogun HPS (Hydro Power Station), does Uzbekistan step back?
The secretary of the Security Chamber of Tajikistan Amirkul Azimov recently carried out open conference named "Collective Security System in Central Asia: Goals till 2015" and talked about importance the constraction of the Rogun HPS for their country, that they have to finish the construction, and also mentioned that it would not bring harm to anyone.
Uzbekistan's council in Tajikistan Shokosim Shoislamov who participated in conference said that Uzbekistan's position is not against the constraction, but would like this great building to be constructed after the results of world ecologic and tech expertise. If this kind expertise will take place, Uzbekistan is ready to invest into this project, said in CA-News agency's info.
The same agency informs that Uzbekistan started release of the stopped railroad cars which were supposed to pass to Tajikistan. Uzbekistan officials say that there is no political base on it, but in Tajik experts opinion, Uzbekistan stepped back after international pressure.
