Gasoline prices went up, people concerned
Since yesterday petrol prices went up to 15 % in the country. Due to the decision of Ministry of Republic of Uzbekistan, the lowest grade gasoline Au-80 - went up from 1065 to 1220 som per liter, Au-93 - 1350 som per liter.
Because of the constant price raise, one may observe dissatisfaction among the people because Uzbekistan has independence in the petrol industry. Rising gasoline prices lead to other consequences like increase in net cost of goods and services.
Note that:
1 gal = 3.79 liters
$1 = 1595 som
Minimum wage in Uzbekistan = 18,630 som
