21:34 - The Congress approved the Uzbek soldiers' training in the US. The democratic opposition must applaud it
It is known from announced US Congress documents related with 2010 budget that US reestablished, after Andijan events, "International Military Study and Training" program for Uzbekistan in this year. These documents were signed by president Obama in December of 2009 and became a law.

On the basis of the documentation, Congress does not make limitations on training Uzbek soldiers in US. Recently the Senate's subcommittee has approved the appropriate proposals.

"Our relationship was limited with the Uzbek military, but we believe it will move on" - says David Sedney, the Deputy Assistant of the Defense Secretary for Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Central Asia, at subcommittee. As we understood, the Congress’ decision will open the doors for the "International Military Study and Training" program.

Through "International Military Study and Training" program driven by the State Department and Department of Defense, 7000 soldiers will be able to study and train every year.

In Pentagon's opinion, US friends and cooperators will study the defense resources management and understanding of the establishment of people's control over the military.

Based on the last sentence, we have to take applaud our militaries for studying in the US. This kind of program will at least force Uzbekistan's regime to soften in front of the West and will give the opposition moral support to widen the radius of its activity.

The first military group has arrived or will be arriving to US soon. The Democratic Opposition of Uzbekistan must relatively revive its activity inside of country.
