19:37 - Official: Bunyodkor Sign Denilson & Stevica Ristic From Pohang Steelers
Uzbekistan club Bunyodkor have sealed a sensational double swoop, gobbling up two of Asia’s biggest stars, according to the club's official website.

Denilson, and Stevica Ristic spearheaded Pohang's charge to last year’s Asian Champions League title, with both players actually grabbing goals against Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Bunyodkor side at the quarter-final stage.

The 33-year-old Denilson will join a host of fellow Brazilian compatriots in Scolari's squad, including the Uzbek League 2009 top-scorer, and former FIFA World Player of the Year, Rivaldo.

Ristic, the 27-year-old Macedonian international, was a prolific scorer in his homeland with Sileks Kratovo before making his name in the K-League with Daejeon Citizen. He was an instant success as he averaged a goal every other game in his first season in Korea and that prolific strike rate earned him a move to Pohang Steelers.

For Bunyodkor, current Uzbek champions, the coup is another example of their heavy investment and club chairman Isok Akbarov will hope the double signing will catapult his club towards their dream of 2010 Asian Champions League glory. // Goal.com
