15:12 - Kazakhstan planning to produce 70 ton of gold in 2015, what about Uzbekistan?
Yesterday, in 1st Kazakhstan Mineral Resources and Metallurgy International Congress, president of this country Nursultan Nazarbaev said that they plan to increase gold production an estimated 70 ton of gold per year in 2015. This way Kazakhstan will become one of the biggest producers of gold.

At the end of the Soviet Union period Uzbekistan used to produce 100 ton of gold. Now days any information about this industry is kept in secret. In recent years, the price for gold doubled.

Uzbeks seem to have forgotten that they have rights to demand reports from the government about these kinds of issues.
