11:21 - Kyrgyzstan events divide Uzbeks into two groups

Our correspondents reported earlier that supporting the Provisional Government is not the right thing to do for the Uzbeks who live in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. Particularly, in the news posted on 14 April was stated the following: " It would be the best for Uzbeks like Kodirjon Botirov, who speak by the name of the Jalolobadian Uzbeks in favor of Provisional Government, to be more realistic".

Now, as it became known, there is another group of Uzbeks who are on Bakiev's side. Nicknamed "Black Oybek" their leader Oybek Mirsidikov (on the picture) who has even been in prison, is blamed for weaponing the people in Osh, Jalolobod and Botkent and taking over the local administrative offices. It is very interesting to note that the above-mentioned Kodirjon Botirov plays the role of the main accuser.

Oybek Mirsiddikov says that he is not scared of anyone accept God and adds that Kodirjon Botirov's family lives in Dubai, so, he may escape whenever he wishes. Trying to show himself as righteous, Mirsiddikov also says that the lawful president must complete his term.

If Uzbek diaspora in Kyrgyzstan divides into two groups opposing each other, it is no doubt that they will lose a lot.
